Living Legends Awards 2019

The 4th Annual Union Lodge Living Legends Awards Luncheon took place yesterday at the Island Inn Hotel in Bay Street, Barbados. This year's Honoree was W. Bro Ricky J. Hinds PDSGW. The event provides the Lodge with the opportunity to recognize the outstanding contribution of its members; In particular, those who made a significant to its development and to freemasonry in general. It also provides an occasion for younger masons to learn of and be inspired by the lives of the awardees.

W. Bros Ian Hinds and Guy Griffith did the orations and the formal presentation was done by W. Bro. OWD Sandiford, the Deputy District Grand Master.

Past honorees include W. Bros. Leonard E. St. Hill, Brian Griffith, Revd. Harold Crichlow and Betram Callender in 2016, Alvan Brathwaite, Clarrie Layne, Ronald Baynes and Fozlo Brewster in 2017 and Delisle Weekes and Guy Griffith in 2018.
